Modern beauty standards are Eurocentric, promoted by all forms of media, the fashion and cosmetics industry, and by society in general. South asian beauty holds a rich culture and history, one that is under appreciated and vastly underrepresented. 
Mental health is beyond the surface. One’s experiences, problems, and emotions can easily be buried under a false persona; you wouldn’t even know. 
The right to free will is seemingly a given. Yet, individuals are consistently restricted to conforming to societal standards, regardless if doing so goes against their own will.
